Lemon Tree

Before I met you, all I knew was bittter
For me bitter was more than a taste
In bitter I found who I was
In bitter I found how life was
In bitter I found how to feel something bad to be something good

After I met you, still all I knew was bitter
I never wanted to know the taste of orange
I never wanted to know the taste of sugar
And I never wanted to try them
Cause all I knew my tongue didn’t want to taste it

After you stood beside me, bitter was still with me
I did love it more than before
I did feel this taste as something wonderful
After you were called by my heart in every single day, I knew how to taste orange and sugar
The taste that in all of my life I never enjoyed

Now, you stand inside my heart, and bitter still stands in my life
But I find something different in me
I start to know other tastes
And I know how to enjoy them when life is tasted too bitter for me
Yeah! It’s perfect! Bitter, sour, and sweet

You, my dear, the one who told me how to enjoy this bitter life to be something tasty. From now on, I have a plan to have my own lemon tree cause I start to love its taste 
